About WattRoad

A practical starting point for choosing portable power for camping, work and home backup.

What this site helps you decide

WattRoad brings together U.S. power station specifications, worked energy examples and a device-based calculator. Start with the equipment you need, estimate the capacity, then inspect the model details before visiting a seller.

The English and Spanish versions describe the same U.S. product variants. Language does not imply local availability or electrical compatibility in another country.

How the runtime estimates work

Estimated hours = nominal battery Wh × 0.8 ÷ average load W. To estimate the battery needed instead, nominal Wh = total device Wh ÷ 0.8. Each device’s Wh is its average W multiplied by its own operating hours.

The 80% usable fraction is an explicit planning assumption shared across the calculator and model tables. It is not a measured efficiency or a guarantee. Estimates assume a fully charged battery and no recharge. Temperature, conversion losses, load changes, battery condition and station overhead can alter results.

The calculator compares capacity and continuous watts. It does not verify individual USB-C power profiles, compressor startup, solar input, transfer time or every cable and voltage requirement. Check those separately in the exact product documentation.

Manufacturer data and testing

Catalog photos and core specifications come from manufacturer information. The buying notes and runtime tables are desk research and calculations; they should not be read as hands-on reviews or laboratory tests. Where a guide quotes an external power requirement, its sources and revision date are shown on the page.

A model meeting an energy estimate is an option to investigate, not a blanket recommendation. We do not assign review scores, claim verified purchases or publish user ratings without supporting evidence.

Prices and corrections

A listed store price is a snapshot, and availability and discounts can change. Confirm the exact product, shipping destination and final price with the seller. If a product specification conflicts with its current manual, use the current manufacturer documentation and recheck the calculation.
