Portable power stations for Starlink Mini and Standard
Estimate the battery capacity needed to run Starlink for four or eight hours.
Pick your Starlink model
Use 40 W for Starlink Mini or 100 W for Standard as planning values. Measure your own setup if possible, since actual draw changes during use.
Size for the hours you need
At 80% usable battery capacity, the Mini at 40 W needs about 200 Wh for four hours or 400 Wh for eight. The Standard at 100 W needs about 500 Wh or 1,000 Wh. Include any other connected devices.
Check how you’ll connect it
If using the Starlink Mini USB-C accessory, check that your station supports the power profile required by the accessory. If using the AC adapter, check plug and voltage compatibility.
Models to compare
Compare a compact option for a short Starlink Mini session with larger batteries for a longer session or a higher draw. Include any laptop or router in your calculation.
